The band returned in 2018 with their 2nd full length, Subjugation of the Bastard Son which was heralded by even the most critical in the press w/ Angry Metal Guy sharing, 'This is black metal at its most unencumbered, effortless and simple...Subjugation of the Bastard Son contains no bad songs'.5 years later, Burial Oath are back with a refreshed line-up, adding MOR GRISH and R to the fold, and are ready to share their new album, The Cycles of Suffering, this time, with the help of Redefining Darkness Records! Decibel Magazine premiered the music video for Pagan Fires and shared, 'Burial Oath are going to bring us catchy, blackened, groovy metal and we can't wait to hear more.' The band will be out supporting the record on their Territorial Damnation Tour in October and November with another US tour planned for the Spring of 2025.
