Carl Jones was a Label-owner in the 60´s and 70´s in Chicago! He recorded artists who had no contract with Chess or Vee-Yay. Chicago had enough musicians, that you can hear on this CD! Big Moose Walker was a great piano player, Hound Dog Taylor plays on this CD his hit 'Christine', Little Mac Simmons was a great harp player and Eddie Shaw is a great sax-player & bandleader! This is not 'the second raw' of Chicagos Blues artists, these are some of the best!
