Breakthrough release by drum prodigy Colin Stranahan

Capri's youngest recording artist, 17-year old drummer Colin Stranahan, releases his first CD with a stellar line up that includes trumpeter Ron Miles, bassist Ken Walker and pianist Jeff Jenkins. The CD also features his father Jim Stranahan on soprano sax. This bop-based group plays mostly original compositions, with several by Colin. Colin shows the maturity of a seasoned jazz musician. The music has a drive that makes one think they have been playing together for many years.
