Dedicating her new CD 'Harpa Bossa' to the bossa pioneers and their successors, she obtains performances full of swing from an instrument that was never before used or imagined for this. In her performances Cristina Braga also shows up as a singer. She is a moving vocalist with a deep melancholy in her voice that seems specially carved for the compositions of Tom Jobim and other masters of the MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). Cristina also writes her own compositions and lyrics together with her husband, bassist Ricardo Medeiros.
