With Dante, multi-instrumentalist Tobias Püschner elevates Daidalos to a new artistic peak. Far from a mere adaptation of the Divine Comedy, the album is a personal reinterpretation of Dante's descent - a journey through faith, fear and despair, mirrored in a world still haunted by manipulation and doubt.

Composed and produced entirely by Püschner, Dante unfolds as a single symphonic black metal audio drama - melancholic rather than evil, merging orchestral grandeur, choirs and aggression into one continuous narrative. 'I wanted to give Dante back the human voice he could never use openly, out of fear of the church of his time', says Tobias. 'This album isn't designed for a trend - it's an expression of my soul.'

Each track is a chapter of this descent: the awakening in 'Dante', the furious ignition of 'Inferno', the chaotic violence of 'Storm', the oppressive ritual of 'Dis' and the emotional centerpiece 'Euphobia' exploring the fear of joy itself. The closing 'Ultimatum' seals the journey in a monumental frozen finale.

Produced in collaboration with Nahuel Lozano (Mental Cruelty), who recorded guitars and bass and crafted the album's modern powerful mix, 'Dante' stands as the fiery counterpart to Daidalos' acclaimed debut 'The Expedition' (2022) - praised for its cinematic depth and atmosphere. 'The Expedition was cold and frozen - like ice. Dante burns like fire.'

The visual dimension, designed by French artist Bérénice Tulliez / Noirs Dessins, depicts the faceless wanderer crossing the underworld - both Dante and the listener, lost between despair and hope.
