FROSTED UNDERGROWTH, who first attracted attention in 2016 with their excellent 'Under Satans Sun' EP, joined Folter Records in May of this year. For the musicians involved, FROSTED UNDERGROWTH is not just a band, but also a conviction, an attitude towards life. Their important influences include early Celtic Frost, Pest (Swe), Gorgoroth, Nargaroth, and Taake. The band name symbolizes a hidden, dark force that causes the forest to die, but at the same time nourishes it. It alludes to the evil and destructive forces in humans that consume life, but from which strength can also be drawn!
