The Story

Modern chamber jazz quintet lead by BMC's most prominent Hungarian artists, Gábor Gadó (guitar) and Veronika Harcsa (vocals).

The original singer of the 11 songs on the album was Gábor Winand, who, like the composer Gábor Gadó, was highly appreciated - not only by the Hungarian audience, but also by the French one during the last two decades. (The singer died three years ago.)
The albums they released together in the early 2000s - Corners of My Mind, Agent Spirituel, Different Garden and Opera Budapest - are considered by many to mark a legendary epoch, showcasing Winand's instinctive talent and the rich emotion of his voice.
He won many French jazz awards for these recordings, like 'Choc de l'année' from Jazzman in 2002.
Gábor Gadó sees these songs as a novelty, and now he found another perfect singer in Veronika Harcsa. Gábor Gadó and the singer recorded a joint album called Shekhinah in 2023. This time the ensemble is again composed by János Ávéd (saxophones, flute), Laurent Blondiau (trumpet) and Tamás Zétényi (cello), who added their own ideas and improvisations to the compositions.
