Featuring 10 brand new piano based compositions and pressed on 180 gram vinyl

'Piano Composed' is Howard Jones' third piano-based album. With this collection, he has taken a different approach to the first two which were 'one-off' improvisations on piano. His friend BT encouraged him to compose a piano piece every day. Over a period of time, Howard accumulated about 15-20 pieces that he thought he could develop. During the lockdown period of time, he spent several months polishing the pieces into ten finished tracks that he was happy with.
With these pieces, Howard felt that it was important to preserve the nuance of natural tempo fluctuations whilst at the same time be able to translate the pieces into readable notation. As a result, Howard's good friend and amazing concert pianist Peter Noke has transcribed five of the pieces in playable notation that are within a 36-page booklet which is included within this release.
