Pianist, arranger, composer, and producer, John Harrison III has toured frequently on the festival circuit in Europe and the USA. After obtaining a B.A. degree in Music with a major in composition from Berklee College of Music, he continued his studies at the University of Massachusetts. He is a former faculty member at Berklee and faculty member at UMass Dartmouth. His other teaching credits include guest faculty member at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and L'Ecole des Musiques, Toulouse, France.
