STUDIO KONZERT is the audiophile Direct-To-2-Track, fully analog concert series, produced since early 2013 at Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg. Released as 180g vinyl in premium gatefold artwork and hand-numbered as a limited edition, it is available in selected stores.
STUDIO KONZERT: It's the grand atmospheric studio hall that has already inspired countless jazz greats to perform at their very best. It's the deep focus of artists, fully immersed in the special moment. It's an audience that listens intently, enchanted by the magic of the performance. Because only under these conditions can such captivating moments be created in a truly unique concert setting.
STUDIO KONZERT: It's experienced sound engineers conducting acoustic brilliance using the finest studio technology--exquisite microphones, analog effects, and the transparent analog Neve console. And our Studer A 820 tape machine captures an exceptional analog recording, direct-to-2-track.
A free-spirited comedienne, a flamboyant diva - sometimes both at once. A thoughtful songwriter, a longing romantic, a playful spirit radiating pure joy. Chanson Noir creator Magdalena Ganter slips into many roles, yet always remains unmistakably herself.
Accompanying her on this special evening were Simon Steger (piano, guitar, xylophone, accordion) and Ladis Tadaa Cinzek (cello). Ganter herself alternated between vocals, piano, accordion, and even the singing saw, adding to the concert's unique and intimate atmosphere.
Since founding the Berlin-based art-pop trio MOCKEMALÖR in 2011, she has performed across Europe, Georgia, and China, releasing three albums. Since 2018, she has also appeared under her own name. Given her artistry, it's surprising she remains an insider's tip--until now. A purely analogue recording, as usual, pressed on 180gr vinyl!
