Mark Masters' latest project Everything You Did gives an entirely new perspective to the music of Steely Dan and yet maintains the essence of what made their music so popular. Masters has put his own unique writing style to work to bring voices like bassoon bass clarinet and French horn to the mix. Featured soloists include; Gary Foster Billy Harper Sonny Simmons Oliver Lake Tim Hagens Gary Smulyan Peter Erskine Hamilton Price with wonderful vocals by Anna Mjoll.

The premise of this recording is to free Becker and Fagen's music from the earthly confines in some cases of harmonic structure and allow the quartet... to create the magic that great improvisers birth.
