This recording was included in Scott Yanow's 'Top Ten Releases and Reissues of 2018' and also in the 'Top Ten CDs of 2018' in Cadence Magazine. She was deemed 'the most effective purveyor of 1920s and 30s swing vocals recording today' in All About Jazz. 

Joining her on this inspired outing is Jon-Erik Kellso, James Chirillo, Steve Ash, Joel Diamond, Lee Hudson, Taro Okamoto and Leopoldo Fleming. They are a simpatico group who are clearly having a ball playing on this lively and enjoyable date.
