Formed in 1987, Mercyless are pioneers of the French metal scene. They debuted with the EP 'Vomiting Nausea' (1990) and released their first album 'Abject Offering' (1992). Their album 'Coloured Funeral' (1993) led to European tours with major bands. They shifted to a darker sound in 1995 and after a troubled release of 'COLD' (1997), they released a new album, 'Sure to Be Pure.'
