Some of his work includes 'Veteran's Day,' covered by Judy Collins on her Bohemia album and reaching #3 on the Folk/Americana chart. The Music 2 Life Foundation honored 'Pledging Allegiance,' which reached #10 on the Folk/American chart. Michael played Newport Folk Festival in a round table with Ellis Paul and Vance Gilbert, as well as opening many Shawn Colvin shows. He and 3 other artists each wrote a song with 4 holocaust survivors as part of a PBS Documentary, as well as being covered by Brew Flies, Stone House Project, and Daisy Chain.
