Drummer Nat Yarbrough returns to his vocal roots with Triple Play.

Before he took up drums, Nat Yarbrough was known as a singer. On his latest release, 'Triple Play,' his talents as a vocalist are showcased in duets with Ellyn Rucker, Marguerite Juenemann, and Julie Monley. Yarbrough sings in a smooth, relaxed style that reflects the influences of Billy Eckstine and Nat Cole. Pianist Chip Stephens and bassist Bijou Barbarossa join Nat on the date.
