Octane has been making its way through the Rock & Metal French musical landscape for 10 years now. Octane is a unique male/female vocal duet with an obsession for melody (in their own « carburetor-Metal » style) and a super tight and thick sound rythmic section.
Octane is the story of 4 friends enjoying each other'scompany and making the music they like: Alex (guitar and vocals) , Fabien (drums), Mali (vocals) and Laurent (bass).
Their friend ship grew and strengthned during the long hours rehearsing and the many kilometers on the road, not to mention lots of shared bottles of beer and Whiskey.
What makes Octane ignite ? Sharing that burning-hot Rock Metal,inspired by the new names of Metal (Periphery, Ghost, Architects...) but also some great classic bands (Alterbridge, Foo Fighters, Disturbed...)
Octane's new release, available April 2nd,is called 'The life I choose' and they are definitely eager to play it live !
With an average of 25 gigs per year across France and Belgium, festivals, venues and bikers gatherings, Octane was the support ingact to some great bands including Bukowski, Tagada Jones, Vulcain or Blaze Bayley.
