Think of Judas Priest at the time of 'Painkiller', those wonderful sawing riff attacks, a screaming, very proud singer, driving rhythms, powerful, gripping songs. Now think of a technical component, somewhere between Toxik, Watchtower (on the second album), Realm, but less thrashy. Again and again, majestic, medium-fast passages with doom-metallic grandeur loosen up these compositions.
