With a career spanning two continents, both in Europe and North America, blues guitarist Slim Butler returns with a swinging new album 'Under The Influence', a collection of Slim's favourite blues classics.

Slim, originally from Rovaniemi, began playing music at the age of 12, developing an immediate and strong connection to American roots music. Key influences on his sound include artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, The Allman Brothers, and Ry Cooder.

Over the years, Slim has risen to become one of the leading names in Finnish blues. He has shared stages with internationally renowned artists such as Jimmy Johnson, Otis Grand, Bob Brozman, Dr. Feelgood, and Papa George. He has also played a key role in organizing the Roots 'n River Blues Festival in his hometown of Rovaniemi, bringing notable international acts to Finland, including Tower of Power.
