Tamás Zétényi is an active member of the Hungarian classical music scene, he is the cellist of the renowned Classicus Quartet. He plays regularly as a founding member of the Classicus Ensemble, the Classicus Quartet, the Trio Passacaglia, and he also performs with many more ensembles.
His transcription of Ligeti's Sonata for Viola Solo for cello receives its world premiere on his debut album.
