Dream Theater style prog/metal featuring guest Derek Sherinian

Derek Sherinian, the famed keyboardist known for his work with Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, Whitesnake and Alice Cooper, is the guest star on the debut single by prog/metal bassist and composer Tanshuman Das.

Tanshuman Das is an experienced progressive rock / metal bassist and composer based in Noida, India. Musically and quality-wise the album's material is very reminiscent of the very best in the genre: Dream Theater, Riverside, Symphony X, Haken, Devin Townsend and Liquid Tension Experiment. So much so that the project got former Dream Theater keyboardist and one of the most popular rock/metal keyboardists currently in the business, Mr. Derek Sherinian interested in collaborating on the debut single.

The main man of the project, Tanshuman Das, is an experienced musician and composer whose musical output has earned him a solid reputation and recognition in his home country. His projects and collaborations over the years include the Tool tribute band Time Throttle, metal band Spectense and indie rock outfit Collision Theory. As an active gamer Das' influences, in addition to the aforementioned top acts of the prog metal genre, include game music, cinematic music as well as 70's prog pioneers Yes, Genesis, Rush and Pink Floyd.
