Uniquely blending influences from The Go Betweens, Nick Drake, Love, Fairport Convention, The Faces, The Kinks, The Velvet Underground, and XTC, they defy easy comparisons. Both members were active in the 'C86' period, sharing stages with indie pop stars like Primal Scream and The Wonderstuff. Spencer and Andy collaborated in various projects, including The Cudgels and Steamtown. They founded Oporto Records and released EPs as The Winnebago Orchestra. Joined by singer-songwriter Caroline Trettine, the trio's musical synthesis culminated in the album 'Fifteen.' Produced by Spencer Roberts, the album features a diverse range of tracks, including a cover of Jazz Butcher's 'Angels.' The result is an eclectic mini-masterpiece, showcasing their unique sound.
